it's time I put my Bellanca on the market. Seems like I got into a 90/90 RV 6 (90% done, 90% to go)and selling my Cruisair is how I plan to afford being able to put an engine/prop in it. My youngest son tells me that I would have had less emotional trauma selling him rather than the Bellanca...(not exactly true, though there were some times when he was a teenager....!?) I have owned the Bellanca for almost 18 years, and as I told Robert, I DO wonder what the hell I am doing, but after a long talk with my wife, and plans for what we want to do after her retirement, we agreed that this was, for us, the best choice. She said she would continue working until the RV is done (talk around our airport is that I didn't tell her that she would have to work for another 10 plus years).
I am sure, like some previous posters, that I will have times of regret that I sold the Bellanca, but then we are all responsible for our choices, so I will try not to cry on this site about how I miss it. I do intend to continue to participate here, and would be happy to continue to furnish any information/337's etc that anyone could use...and besides, considering the market, it is not likely that it will sell all that soon!
