The late great aviation historian Pete Bower would know this. I was asked how many Triple tails were there? That is a good question!
The Bellanca, Lockheed Connie,Boeing 314, Douglas DC4-E prototype,Grumman Mohawk, Miles M 38 Messanger( Check the movie "633 Squadron" YouTube),Short Singapore, Marshetti S66,Dornier WAL.
Can you find more ? Lynn the crate :?:
 
You could probably include the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (even if they started as single tails) in that list.
 
Heck Lynn, I would just like to know how many triple tail Bellanca's are in AIRWORTHY condition. I know we have discussed this before on the Forum, but all we have are estimates...and I can't help but wonder about them. I know there were approx 100 each of the 14-19 family built, and can only guess how many of them are actually flying. 14-13's...anybody know? I mean REALLY know. ll
