pilot side window

I noticed in the paper book for the 14-19 that the original pilot side window opened. I do not have an operating window now. Does anyone know if that is a possibility to find? Thanks.

Mike, I believe all 14-19s had the front 15 or 20% of the pilots window that hinged vertically like an old time wing window in a car. I think I have one from a 14-19-3 that I can send you to try. I will measure it for height first to see if the straight 14-19 and the -3 windows are the same. I will post height tomorrow. By vertical I mean that the hinge is vertical.____Grant.
 
Mike, I cant locate the -3 window but I have a more conventional ie. hinged on the bottom, latch on the top 1 foot long by 6 3/4 high. It came from a Cruisair but is not stock. Ask your IA if it would work for you? --Grant 707-928-5538
 
Grant, Thanks looking and for the offer. The window on the 14-19 is about 17" tall and 21" long so I don't think the smaller window could be used and keep the looks right. I guess it isn't crucial that it opens, I just read that it had one to begin with and thought it would be nice.
