First and foremost; Can anybody help on pics, drawings or knowledge of front seat frames for my 14-13-2. My new restoration project seems fairly complete except for these parts. Appreciate the help. Dan
 
Dave. I guess I need info for both seats and back. I have a re-upholstered bench type seat and two backs and nothing to mount them on. Any clues would be a great help. Dan
 
The seat bottoms are merely cushions tht rest on a canvas sling glued to the front and rear spar carry-through. It laces up with heavy chord in the front. Airtex carries the sling. The backs are welded tube affairs. I'll see if I can find a drawing, but there's nothing like having one to use as a template for making new ones. I'd try the "Fly Market" area of the BCC website or contact Harvey Leydecker in McCalla, AL. I seem to remember her had a seat back frame last time I was down there. His number is 205- 477-6342.
 
Anybody would have a picture of the front bottom seat canvass installed on their bird?

While talking about seat backs, the 14-13-3 backs seem to have been adjustable. Does anyone have any info on those?

Did you ever find the slings? If not, I'll try to remember to bring an extra so you can photograph it when I come to St. Jean. We'll be arriving Oct 6 or 7.
 
St-Jean Oct 6 or 7 look good to me, good excuse to fly there weather permitting. I'll bring my digital camera and we'll go and fly around. You'll try it. :o

:lol: They seem to be the real deal. Contact me if you need photos. Much better than the K-Mart beach chairs that I was eyeing. Thank to all for the replies. Next up for me are correct landing gear bolts and a move into a shared hanger this weekend. Anybody in the 661 area code here? Dan

Both front and rear sling shows for 82.00. I will call monday to ask if price is still the same as shown on the web page.
I think this is a good deal and will save lots of time.

Where in area code 661 are you located? My son lives in Valencia and a friend lives on a ranch NE of Bakersfield (both 661). I get over there several times a year for visits.

I was planning to send copies of my 377 on a brake conversion for my 14-13-2 several months ago when my hard drive crashed. (Everyone backs up, don't they?) I've just about got everything straightened out and will get it out to anyone who wants one.
