Need advice on replacing wing wiring for nav lights

I started pulling staples that hold the nav light wiring in place until I realized I would have to open up the trailing edge of the wing to get them all. Am I missing something here :?:
My AI said he'd like the old stuff out of there before we run the new nav/ strobe cables. Speaking of, how would I secure the new wiring? Just let it flop around :?: Tie-wrap it to the aileron brackets :?:
If I have to open up the TE to get to the old, I feel it would make more sense to leave it in place and tie-wrap the new to the old :?

Welllll: Not that this is what you should do......but this is what I did. I moved the wires to the next bay forward (where the inspection holes are. & I glued them with acrylic adhesive (that I had around.....like very sticky clear silicone) to the skins and ribs to keep them from flopping around . What else can you do? Ken

I've heard someone ran theirs in the leading edge of the wing, but not sure how they did it :?
Next bay forward sounds good to me. I sure don't want to start cutting into the wing if I don't have to.

Thanks Ken!
