Napa earthquake

Grant and Larry,
Hope you came thru the quake ok and with no damage. Let us know how you fared.
I am/was in San Carlos/Belmont on new grandpa duty and what seems to be typical of us, we slept thru it. My daughter in law told us she felt it, but being a semi exhausted new mom, fell back asleep.

It woke me up for a few seconds. I thought it was my cat jumping onto my bed, but it lasted longer than anything my cat would do. I must have slept through most of it, since I didnt think it was any different than the many little quakes we have here from the steam fields. In the morning, I had completely forgotten about it until I turned the news on. I then recalled that I had felt a little shaker. I did hear on the news that they were checking the Napa airport for cracks in the runway, but it was never mentioned again, so I dont think there was any problem. Just another day in the life of the Left Coast. ______Grant.

No problems at the hanger in Cloverdale.
At home wife and I both woke up from a sound sleep.

In my delirium I was struggling to turn on the light, and trying to figure out how to load
a gun and shoot what was obviously a raccoon or cougar jumping on my bed.

Light on.. no critters, windows all shut. Hmm
Downstairs.. none of the glass stuff we have on high shelves as quake detectors seemed to have moved
as bit.

Back to bed.

Napa Tower windows all fell out, and they were operating the tower remotely for a while,
and now it is in a trailer I think. Luckily, they roll up the sidewalks at the napa tower at night,
so nobody there I'm guessing.

Never occurred to me how those steel portable hangers like mine, might behave in a quake ??
