Just got the coolest thing- a pneumatic tailwheel!

Harvey Leydecker is the greatest. He had a Goodyear tire that fits the hub Robert Szego sold me. Harvey says this will make my little Cruisair much more comfortable on the ground and lessen the chance of a busted tailwheel fork if it drops in a hole :mrgreen:

I LOVE it when stuff works like it's supposed to!

Anyone wanna help scrub old glue off'n my wings? So far, no takers. Wonde why :?: :roll:

My Cruise Air came with a tube type tail wheel when I bought it. I can't imagine one any other way. Greg

Yessir- the solid rubber TW was original equipment on S/N 1505 (mine). I'll bet it was noisy and bumpy when taxiing. On the OTHER hand, I'll bet they never had a flat!
Margaret asked me a hard question about this- she wanted to know if I was going to use the solid rubber tire she bought me for Christmas. I didn't have an answer...
