I went out for a quick flight yesterday and had no mag drop on the right mag, buzzed around the bay a bit and landed, did a mag check and same thing, no drop.
Separately, the key slot for my mag switch is also worn, which allows the key to jiggle out when the mags are on.
So, it seems like the prudent solution is to replace the mag switch.
I have looked on Spruce and others, but the only mag switch I can find for a certified bird has a "Start" Position which I don't need. The switch I currently have only has 3 wires, left, right, and ground. I have been unable to find a switch with only three connections.
Should I just install the switch with a "Start" position and not use the "start" function?
