Hydraulic Accumulator

Hi Gang,
I have a question for you. The logs were lost for my Bellanca 14-13-2 project. I finally received copies of the Oklahoma City Records (160 pages). One of the 337's states that an electric hydraulic landing gear system has been installed, similar to the Viking 17-30. It gives part numbers, and drawings, for most of the parts.
One of the parts listed (with no number) is for a "Bellanca 17-30 hydraulic accumulator" I can't seem to find what I think might be the accumulator.
Finally, the question. What am I looking for? Size, shape, etc.

If you have seen a trim tab pump on a boat that operates the trim tabs or lifts the lower unit on a Mercruiser it will look almost the same.. It is about 5" square and about 10" tall . The pump is mounted on the top and the accumulator is on the bottom. It normally mounts under the front seat. I would like to know what year you have. I have a hydraulic system on mine with a hand pump. I sure would like to have a copy of the paperwork so I could put a pump on mine.

Hi Randy,
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I can't find any evidence of any other items that may have been mounted in the "hydraulic" area.
My Bellanca is a 1946 that has been modified to a 14-13-2, but, I did not receive a copy of a 337 to cover it.
If, and when, I get it all sorted out, I will be happy to send you a copy for the gear.
