Franklin Manual with power curves

I recently downloaded a Franklin manual that I had never seen before. It was on the Stinson Yahoo group. It is different from the "Franklin Engine Service Instructions for the Model 6A4-150-B3, B31 & 6A4-165-B3". What is really interesting is that it has engine curves!!! :D :D . I would be glad to send it to anyone who wants it. The PDF file is about 2 megs.

I have the hard copy manual from the 150hp 6A-335-B1 which has power curves. Is it the same one? If not, I'd love one, too.

Thanks, Larry!

Of course, you're right, Dan.

My manual is from a 150hp Franklin 335, approved by the CAA, which must be a predecessor of our beloved 6A-350. It does have power curves.

Larry, I'd love a copy of your manual.

Thanks.

Mike:

Although the captcha (or whatever the heck those cockeyed letters and numbers you need to type in to prove you're not a bot) sign-up prevents those "Sad about your love muscle?" posts on the forum, bots abound to scan for email addresses. Keep in mind that these forums are readable even for non-members. Thus, I'd suggest NEVER posting your email address to this forum unless you use something like fred-at-comcast DOT net.

Better still, if you use the email feature of the forum that should be secure. Just click on Larry's envelope icon below his happy image, send a note to him, and it will be sent to him via a filter system. If he responds - and he's a friendly guy - you will each see each other's email addresses.

Or...Larry, you could post a LINK to this info on the forum ;)

Jonathan, do I have to have a web site to link, or is there some place on the BC Club that I can link it to? I don't have a web site.

I still say that we need to have a place to up/download files on this site! (Robert, how about it????!!!) The Yahoo chat sites seem relatively secure (those that are monitored closely, such as the Stinson and Viking groups) and they have the ability to post files and pics. This site seems so much nicer, it is a shame we can't do it yet...unless I just don't know how, in which case I apologize.

Mike, I am sending you the file. You need to print it, as it is a pdf, and is oriented in a screwy fashion.

Sorry, Larry - I misunderstood. I thought you'd found it on a web site, and the link you could provide, perhaps, was the one you used to get it.

This is now possible for pdf files, although there is a 1mb limit. Please distill accordingly. Sample has been uploaded under Membership Applicaation.
