Dear Bellanca-Champion Club Members,
By now most of you have heard the news that Robert Szego, President of the Bellanca-Champion Club, has passed away. Robert spent the last 26 years building the club into a strong network of owner and advocates for Bellanca and Champion aircrafts. As his daughter I can share with you all how much he loved every moment of his time running the club-from putting together every newsletter, to planning the fly-ins, but most importantly connecting to members worldwide and advocating to keep every plane possible flying. There was nothing my dad loved more than talking airplanes.
Due to Robert’s death, club activities have been temporarily suspended. Please bear with me as I work with this community on succession plans to ensure continuation of the club that meant so much to my dad. Thank you in advance for your support at this difficult time. Updates will be posted on the forums and communicated to members as available.
