I just loosen the screw on top of the cyl and let it bleed while topping up the mc with a syringe, then tighten it up again. Having said that I am having a lot of grief with my left MC. Parts manual says it's a Scott 4000, but when I pulled the internal piston assy and compared that the the Scott 4000 schematic, nothing is the same except the outer cylinder perhaps. The O ring dimensions are off, the top seal is not as depicted etc. So I am having a hard time getting a rebuild kit put together.
