Blueprints for cruisair

New to the forums and to airplane ownership. Looking to restore a cruisair and wondering if any other members already had the blueprints? tail number N86802

Trying to figure out how/what to request from NASM, but aware it will take them awhile to get the prints to me. In the meantime, any information would be very much appreciated.

Thanks and cheers!

You can request a list of the prints from the NASM and it won't be expensive.
From that list, you can order 10 prints per month. Each print will have a listed price.
There is a shipping charge and about a month turn around time. First time users will
sign a hold harmless agreement for the Bellanca family.

Hi Dan,
I appreciate the response! I was hoping someone might have a little direction in the way of the NASM archives. I think, based on the tail number, it is a 14-13-2. Is that correct?

When I go to NASM (http://airandspace.si.edu/research/arch/findaids/bellanca/gmb_sec_21.html), do I just need to get box 113 numbers 5 and 6? Or are there other records I should request?

I read that the club may have a copy of some of the blueprints somewhere? Is this the case? Thanks

A year ago, at the Columbia fly-in, I gave Robert the list of 14-13, 14-13-2 and 14-13-3 prints available
from the NASM. These airplanes are all grouped together as a lot of the prints apply to all variants. You can ask Robert for a copy or request from NASM. The list is extensive, with several hundred prints. Some prints
may only be $1.00....others may be up to $30.00 or more.
I can guarantee that your airplane was built as a 14-13. However, it may have been modified to a "-2" in the past...many, including my Cruisair were factory modified.

Sorry, maybe this is a silly question, but who is Robert? Thanks

Robert Szego is the Headmaster of this organization. Go to the home page of the club and review the information presented. There is more to the B/C club than the forum.
