If you have not already checked with airtex, you might do that. Amazingly enough, they supplied a tremendous amount of interior parts to airplanes like 14-19's and 14-13's back in the 40's and 50's and still have much of the documentation on deminsions and stuff. I forget the fella's name that my friend with a CallAir talked to, but through their drawings and documents, they were able to construct a virtually brand new interior for him...it wasn't cheap, but it looked nice. I'll have to agree that the Cruisemaster likes grass....I have a 14-13 and work it off of a 1800 ft strip in wyoming (5000ft alt.)...never a problem, even loaded....it does not jump off like our 170 w/ 180 lyc. and c/s prop, or our 180, but it does quite well. I had to install clevelands to make landing it on our runway on a hot summer day a little less hectic, but we operated a baron for years from here, I shouldn't compain.
Anyway, try to get ahold of a tech guy at airtex, if you have not already.
All the best,
