Hi, got this Bellanca I'm working on. I need all the info I can get on the interior. I've had some great help so far from Paul Beeks in Idaho and contacts with others. The plane is flying but missing lots of interior parts and the inside needs repair. I installed new floor boards and there is no insulation anywhere. I'm based @ P-37 about 30 miles NE of Pittsburgh on a grass field. This bird really likes grass and it hauls. LYNN FORD :)

Lynn.

If you have not already checked with airtex, you might do that. Amazingly enough, they supplied a tremendous amount of interior parts to airplanes like 14-19's and 14-13's back in the 40's and 50's and still have much of the documentation on deminsions and stuff. I forget the fella's name that my friend with a CallAir talked to, but through their drawings and documents, they were able to construct a virtually brand new interior for him...it wasn't cheap, but it looked nice. I'll have to agree that the Cruisemaster likes grass....I have a 14-13 and work it off of a 1800 ft strip in wyoming (5000ft alt.)...never a problem, even loaded....it does not jump off like our 170 w/ 180 lyc. and c/s prop, or our 180, but it does quite well. I had to install clevelands to make landing it on our runway on a hot summer day a little less hectic, but we operated a baron for years from here, I shouldn't compain.

Anyway, try to get ahold of a tech guy at airtex, if you have not already.

All the best,

Hi Merriot, yes I talked to Dodd Stitch at Airtex and they have patterns for everything but a 14-19-2. I sent them some paper patterns and they stitched up a cowl pad for me. I made my own kick panels and mounted them. I need some info on how the side interior covering attaches to the rear floor board and insulation. I will be glad when the weather breaks and I can fly this thing to different events and maybe see some other Cruisemasters. Oshkosh is a for sure for me this year. Lynn Ford N9818B

I see Bruce Falls is selling his Cruisemaster on ASO.COM. He has some nice pictures and a new interior. I was wondering if he did the interior or it was done for him? If so I would like to know how it is put together such as the headliner and side panels. LYNN

I ended up installing a custom made interior with Airtex materials. I found a local auto Upholstery shop who worked with me on the project. I love my new interior now in two tone leather and tweed all FAA certified. It is so nice that the auto man got two more jobs just from the quality and looks of the old crate! LYNN N9818B :D
