Bellanca 14-13 Conversion

Hi Guys, I have a 1946 Bellanca 14-13 that is supposed to have been converted to a 14-13-2. I believe it has but, I can't prove it yet. The log books are reported to have been destroyed, and there is no mention of the conversion in any of the OKC paperwork. The necessary drawings to verify it are not yet available from the Bellanca Club. It has the small solid plywood fins. The control cable stops have been removed. Could someone please measure the length of a 14-13-2 horizontal stabilizer for me?
Thanks in advance. Dick Goff

I'd make a try to find the original 14-13 stabilizer and fins. There's just too few true 14-13s out there! I'd like to see the different configuration once in a while.
About the only conversion I'd make is disc brakes.

'Course if you can't find the 14-13 stab- just ignore me!

Hi Brendan,
I need the distance, or length, from the fuselage side of the inboard stab rib (next to fuselage), to the inboard side of the tip fin. Try measuring at the stab trailing edge outward. It doesn't have to be exact, I think we have 4" to play with. I don't know if that is per side, or overall.
Thanks so much for your help!

Hi "Dangerous Dave",
It's already too late for it to remain a 14-13. It has the disc brakes and it has been converted to hydraulic gear. Best regards.
