Wonder if Mike ever watched SkyKing when he was a kid? He may have seen his plane (tail anyways) decades before he bought it! That's the SongBird departing in the background. Is that cool or what?

Mike has had two 14-9 projects for sale for a year or so in the southern California paper called Aviators Bulletin. This is probably one of them________Grant.

Come to find out this is stock footage which they used several times in SkyKing. I'm up to episode 35 and I've see it 4 times.
