Attempt to "rebirth" Franklin Engines

There is a lot going on regarding attempts to get production going on Franklins back in the US on the Stinson Yahoo group. I would encourage all who might be interested to check it out. If you have any problems seeing it, let me know, and I will try to copy and post it here, or get them to send it to us.
Robert, is Susan Prall (Franklin Engine ( http://franklinengineco.com/ ) on our Forum?

AC 23-27 seems to be the last stop to fitting parts to older engines.

Refering to acceptable parts substitutions for older aircraft, it clarifies documentation for the substitute parts, often requiring only a log book entry.
I'm thinking of Dan C's Lenape engine collection. What you can't find, you must make. And by the look of it, you can make better parts than the original, although the original idea and design are incredible enough.
I thought Franklins were going down this road.
This restart for Franklin is much better.
