Allen Harstine has obtained a one time STC that may be transferable for a McCauley 1A170 prop on a 14-13-3 with a Franklin 150. It should be very useful in obtaining approval for other individuals. I would hope that even the FAA could see the logic that if it's ok for a -3, it should work on others...especially since so many have been flying behind that prop for 50+ years!!
He also got approval for an Electronics International digital tach. He has given me approval to distribute them to anyone who wants a copy.
