Chad the pilot did a credible job getting it down without a lot of damage (it helps when you got a nice big field to plant it on too). Giuseppe had it right too when the main landing gear wheels remain partially exposed to help with these unforeseen episodes. Good ending to what could have been another ugly GA accident.

Contrary to the interview I assume the gear stayed up on purpose. Sure would lesson the chance of going end for end.
