Strange question, I know, but here goes:
Does anyone know of a replacement for the plastic case that holds the factory airworthiness certificate (looks like a heavy duty zip-loc bag) that is pop riveted to the left interior panel below the trim quadrant) for a '73 7GCBC?
It was about zero degrees out, and someone put there boot to mine while getting out, and it cracked to pieces. Not sure if it was the cold that played a bigger part or the fact that it was 35 years old!
Anyway, I'd like to get another one. Maybe I'll need to call ACA, but thought I'd check with you guys first. I'd like to keep this plane as original as I can. I know, I'm wierd that way.
Thank you,
Don
