165 heat box?

What kind of carb heat box is used on the Franklin 165 installation? It's for an MA-4.5 carb, so my existing heat box (for my 150) has too small an attachment plate for the larger carb used on the 165. I don't want to modify the one I have, as I would rather it go with my 150 when the time comes.
The 337 for my Brackett air filter is actually checked as an engine mod, vs aircraft mod! Any info would be appreciated.

Larry, it might help to look at the Stinson 108-3. I take care of one here at Butler and it also sports the Brackett filter. Lynn :?

I have looked at a picture of the Stinson airbox and see what looks like a tube or something extending down from the bottom of the box. What is that?

As it looks now, I think that I am going to have a pretty tight area considering the height of the MA 4.5 compared to the MA 3.

Depending on what you tell me that tube (?) is, I may just cut it off...if I can get an airbox. Thanks! LL
