14-13 Conversion to 14-13-2

Hi Bellancaneers,
I have a 14-13 that is supposed to have been converted to a 14-13-2. The club does not have the drawings needed to verify this. I do not have any logbooks, either.
I previously requested for someone to please send me the length of a 14-13-2 horizontal stabilizer. My AI says if mine is the right length, he will accept it, as a dash 2. Unfortunately, no one has replied. Can some one please help? Dick Goff N29TJ.

Measured the horizontal tail surface on the starboard side of my 14-13-3. Measured along the trailing edge, because that's straight. Leading edge is curved, of course.

Distance from the inboard rib forming the inboard end of the tail surface -- i.e. the end that follows the taper of the fuselage -- to the inboard side of the fixed, plywood vertical fin at the outboard end of the tail surface is 70 1/4 inches. From the inboard side of the first inboard rib that is parallel to the aircraft centerline -- i.e. the first inboard rib that does not follow the taper of the fuselage -- to the same inboard end of the plywood vertical fin is 55 3/4 inches.

I also measured the leading edge of the elevator on the starboard side of my Bellanca -- from the inboard side of the inboard rib to the outboard side of the outboard rib. That dimension is 70 1/4 inches.

Hope this helps.

Hi Brendan,
Received the stab measurements. Haven't got to measure mine yet, but I want to thank you so very much for your time and consideration. Dick N29TJ
