Boy, nothing has done more for my peace of mind than spending a few days watching Dan Torrey go over my Cruisair with a fine tooth comb.
Wings: clean bill of health
Alilerons: nothing to worry about
Landing Gear: serviced
AD's : been doing some that only applied to older airplanes !
Dan spotted the cause of the rough feel and noise when the ailerons operate :
cables crossed over and rubbing over each other about 10 feet deep in the
right wing... something I have been trying to pinpoint for 18 months.
Truly outstanding knowledge of the bellanca !!
Best money I ever spent...and incredible generosity helping me find hotel, meals,
transportation and comraderie !
While it's there, the franklin will get two jugs overhauled, new motor mounts,
and my lowest compression will be 74/80.
