Structural differences between the 14-19 and 14-19-2

This is not a question of the engine, engine mount, etc etc.
Other than the firewall forward, are there any major structural differences in the 14-19 and 14-19-2 airframes? Landing gear? Wing differences? Is the interior the same? Width length etc?
Thanks

My 14-19 has fuses for the electrics. I think the -2 has c.b.'s. The -2 has a stall warning. Mine doesn't. Ventilation setup is a little different from early Cruisemasters. I'm guessing the dimensions are identical. Dan Cullman-Please chime in. Tom Robinson

There are a number of small differences that I am aware of, which are mostly minor. The interior is different - panel layout especially. Not that the -2 is necessarily better by any means. Also the powerpak is different - the 14-19 has the Electrol 750B and the -2 has the 750N. I have heard that the 750B is more difficult to obtain service, but then the owners like Tom could better answer that question. I am quite sure that the wings and the fuselage were built using the same fixtures between both models. The once nice attribute of the 14-19 is that it was the last model built in the Bellanca Delaware factory, probably under the watchful eye of GM himself. Also it's hard to dispute that the 14-19 cowl has more classic appeal - it just looks cool. But Adam I know from your posts that you are just lusting for extra power, so from that perspective it's hard to beat the -2.

The first dozen or so had different landing gear retract struts. They looked more like Cruisair, but they were hydraulic. I have only seen one that way, years ago at Columbia. I also think that most 14-19s were built by Downer/Northern. I think (I may be wrong) that the first dozen or so were built by Bellanca and then the rights were sold. I used to have an signed copy of Delaware Aviation History and I think that is where I read about the sale. ____Grant.

Thanks for the responses.
I'm thinking the -2 is the better bird.
If all goes well, some exciting things could be happening in the coming weeks.
stay tuned!
