Part numbers

Does anybody out there know the proper part numbers for the main fuel tank senders and fuel gage selector switch? So far all I have is Stuart Warner and Carling as to who made them. Any help here would be great. 1958 Cruisemaster LYNN N9818B

I discovered Westach makes a universal fuel sender and a great looking gauge. So I ordered 3 senders and the gauge for a total cost of 154 bucks. SUPER! No luck yet on the 3 position switch. I got into replacing the junk aluminum wire to the left tank sender WHAT A NIGHTMARE. Bellanca stapled this junk to the wood and it is next to impossible to repair or replace . Looks like they hired a guy from the phone company very disappointing. In order to replace you either enter the wing and pull the tank or do a little drilling with a borescope to fish the wire. I think open heart surgery is easier than this job. It took me 6 hours to get the wire from the sender past the butt rib to the fuselage! I'm still looking for that switch ,Alexandria Aircraft was no help. Speaking of help, Russell Williams has the best and most informative info for Cruisemasters on the Web. If your into these old crates ,He is the man. LYNN N9818B

greetings!
the fuel gauge indicator switch in N522A was looking pretty ratty and was a 6 position unit to boot (so there was a dead spot between left, aux and right). i replaced it with a 3 position unit i found on mcmaster-carr (p/n 65865K34 $5.18 ea). much cleaner and no more dead spots.
i plan on replacing the old mechanical sending units with solid-state capacitive units. your observations about access are much appreciated. maybe i'll leave that one for later... i also replaced the old stewart-warner gauge which was almost inop with a westach expanded scale unit. much clearer to read and cleaner intallation.
hope this helps!

Vic, thanks for the part #. I will try that out! I modified my senders so the float would be clocked properly into the tank. Machinist friend cut new ones from aluminum and now they resemble the broken SW senders. LYNN N9818B

Vic, thanks for the P/N. I got the switch and this is perfect! I got the fuel system now working and it is so nice to know how much fuel is left in the tanks. LYNN N9818B
