Greetings all you Bellancaholics out there. Thanks for the inquiry about my -2 being overhauled by Corona Aircraft Engines. I've owned this aircraft for the past 38 years and have flown it all over our great country and down to Mexico. It has never let me down, though I have it on a couple of occasions.
As a CFI, I get to fly quite a few types of aircraft and to me, nothing flys like a Bellanca. That's why I've kept it for so long.
My first thought at overhaul was to go to a P-Ponk conversion, then an I-O470-F conversion, now probably just overhaul the 0-470. Then there's the Hartzell prop that requires the A.D every 5 years or 250 hours. Too many options.
So, all of you Bellanca types, keep those birds in the air where they are at home.

P.S. Thank you Bob Szego for the "heads up" about this forum

and for the great job you do as President.
