oil in the fuel servo

I recently had my fuel servo start leaking fuel. Took the servo to the overhaul shop and they quickly found oil between the venture and the servo shell. The tech said this is a common problem with acro use airplanes and will worsen when the engine is cold. But i dont do acro. He said to look for the intake stems leaking. Oil will seep in the intake tube and upon start-up suck oil in the holes in the venture causing the gaskets/seals to go bad. Can anyone shed any light on the problem.

update on the oil. had an engine shop tell me the compression check was high due to the rings holding oil. The compression check was 80 on all 4 jugs. this was causing the oil to get in the intake and drain to the fuel servo. am i crazy or am i missing something. any help would be appreciated because the airplane is grounded until i figure out what is going on.
