Hello all. I am a new member. My name is Michael Alton and I live in central Indiana. I purchased a Cruisemaster N6556N from Rodney who is also a member here. It is going through an extensive annual right now and I am hoping to get it up in the air as soon as possible. Without any manuals and most people having no experience on these engines or planes, I am sure to be asking many questions here and looking through the arcives quite a bit. Thanks in advance for all of the advice and help I am sure to be needing.

What is your serial number? Looks like we are close, mine is 2032. I have a pdf copy of the O-435-A parts manual and service manual. It includes the info on the Scintilla mags. I have gotten a number of field approvals as well.

Thanks guys. My serial number is 2009. I do have a manual for the O-435, but the info on the mags and the field approvals would be greatly appreciated. I have just found out the right side muffler has no baffles left in it, does anyone know of a place to get one, or will I have to have the old one rebuilt? Thanks for the help.

Mike, I use Dawley Aviation and they do an excellent job. You must send them the muffler and they have a very good turn time. I use them a lot and have always been pleased. Lynn the crate :D
