New member/Remote oil filter

Hi all, I'm the new owner of a 1966 7ECA, I would like to install a remote oil filter and I'm interested in what is the preferred remote oil filter for this plane, I'm allso new to this group and looking forward gleaning all the info I can, thanks in advance for your help

I have a 65 7ECA with the 0-200. I am assuming yours has the 0-200 as well. I don't know how many styles are available, but I bought a kit from F & M. It was going to be mounted in October when I was having other work done. However, we found that while the actual mounting of the adapter is no problem, it fits directly in the line of the aluminum air baffle on the left side of the motor. The baffle will have to be pulled, redesigned and remounted. A LOT of work. My mechanic and I decided to postpone that until the next annual when we plan on some other engine work as well.

Something to consider when checking options.
