AOPA insurance just sent me a quote for my 14-19-2 and it increased 300 bucks for the same coverage as last year! I called and they told me all Bellancas went up. Global Aerospace is the carrier. Any of you Bellanca boys have a similar experiance? :x LYNN N9818B

Call Andy, Melonie or Nancy at Facer Insurance 800-727-2147. They know Bellancas, and if anyone can get it, they can.

I use Faucer they insure the Bellanca through Global. They are about the only one insuring the Bellancas. I have a friend with a 14-19-2 and they went up on his. I only carry liability on my 14-13-2 and it runs me about $600. I figure if I live through the crash I will be able to fix the plan myself. If I don't live who cares about the plane. I paid off my plane with a very low interest credit card that way I don't have to carry collision. :lol: :lol:
 
I just got a new quote from avemco for $1986.00 for 33k hull coverage+100k liability. Last year it was $1100.00 from Global Aerospace.Mark
 
Mark, I got a quote from Avemco and it was sky high. I'm sticking with AOPA but I plan to drop the hull in flight if they pull this BS next year. My 300 buck increase is almost a 25% increase with no claims 2000 hrs and Instrument. LYNN N9818B
