Gluing new seat slings in

Try using some "Cecobond" glue. It's available from Aircraft Finishing Systems..... on the web at aircraftfinishing.com It's the strongest stuff I've found, and is really nice to work with.
 
Ever use Pliobond? You can thin it with MEK with excellent results supposedly, but I've never tried it.

In Vol. 8 of Juptner's Civil Aircraft series, he describes the interior panels as blue mohair on thin fibreglas. I don't think I could handle that :shock:

If I remember correctly, my interior didn't have full-length panels, it was vinyl stretched down the sides and glued to the window frames. The bottom was on some thin fibrous boards that I fortunately kept.

Looks like I'll install the seat slings tonight. I expect to be covered with Pliobond head to foot. Yuck. :lol:
