I saw a photo of a Cruisair or Cruisemaster with copilot brakes. I am wanting to do that same conversion on 77AY. My A&P says you can't just use a second set of Scott 4000 brakes, they have to be brakes without reservoirs. I think he is wrong. When one side brake is actuated, the other one cannot leak pressure because the o ring slides upward to seal off the backflow holes. And further, does anyone know whether there is provision (tabs) for securing the second set of cylinders to the cross tube? We don't really want to weld on anything in the plane and taking that entire tubing assy out seems like a major operation. Anyone?
