Changing a generator in a 14-13-2 Frank

Just wondering if there is an easy way to R&R a generator on a 150 Franklin in my Cruisair? Which side is the easiest to remove and replace it? Anything I should watch out for in the process? It's time to replace the brushes and I think the best way is to remove it from the engine to do that?
What do I look for on the rubber isolator .. is a replacement necessary?
Thanks!

I just got done doing mine worked on both sides but pulled it from the battery side, went slick and easy except for one wire nut gave me issues.

I would pull the battery box and remove it from the right side. Look at the absorbers and if there is ANY indication of wear, I’d recommend replacing it. Had 2fail in the 1500 hrs I put on mine. Throw the old one in your cross country box, so if/when the installed one fails when you’re 500 miles from home, you can reinstall it to get you home.
