Packing my bag for Iowa! Finally making the hajj. Weather willing, Terry and I hope to arrive Friday and see many of you there.

The crate will soldier to Blakesburg again. I sure hope Iowa has dry ground! It is a SUPER flyin Lynn the crate :D
 
Bad news. Broke my nose last night (softball - a misnomer) and the resulting inflammation around the eyes have grounded me. Was really looking forward to this trip. Setting my sights (!) on next year.

Al Gore is on to it. Tomorrow high winds forecast and thunderstorms. Looks like Lee Bottom, Oshkosh, and now Blakesburg scrubed for weather! :( Lynn the crate
 
Lee Bottom last year was canceled for weather, it was a mud hole. Lets hope this year we can all attend. I will check with Al Gore and get his approval. Lynn the crate :P
 
Looks like it will be perfect weather, but still have a ways to go on my engine. Work keeps getting in the way. Looks like Lee Bottom is my next opportunity as well.
 
Well Blakesburg was a huge hit again this year, only saw one 14-13 with an 0435 on it. And one T6 go into the trees on the north end of the airport. T6 was too hot and just couldn't shut down. What a waste.....
 
One out of three! We made it to Lee Bottom. There were threee Triple Tails. The crate, a Green Cruisair, and a 260 nosegear Cruisemaster. Great weather and good turn out. :D Lynn the crate
 
I recently purchased N6561N, I have been flying my Pitts to Blakesburg the past few years... I will be there in my 14-19 this year!!! I hope to see and meet others there.
