8KCAB Fuel Pressure Gauge Fluctuation

Looking for help in trouble shooting my '79 8KCAB AEIO320 fuel pressure fluctuation problem. We tested the gauge with a known good and the problem showed up on the test gauge. So, logically we put a fuel pump in it and I still have the same problem. At high R.P.M., the needle on the fuel gauge moves rapidly. I was wondering if anyone can offer any guidance on the problem.
 
I have a '79 *KCAB as well.

A tempory fix is to disconnect both ends of the line to the gauge and get rid of any fluid in the line. Permanent fix is to fit a restrictor at the engine end.

My advice is to get used to it.
