Plus side of Keystone - they do MAGNIFICENT work.
Minus side of Keystone - you may have to leave your instrument to your decendents before it arrives.
Plus side - he work will be so good they will cherish it
Seriiously, this is a renown shop, especially for Cub restorers. Cubs are HOT properties and, I'd imagine, are first priority. The aviation business is such that most shops NEVER refuse work, even when they're backed up to 2009.
If this is a AOG situation let them know. If this is a ongoing restoration, do not let them know. I suggest, in the former case, you may want to ge with a temporary solution for your oil temp gauge until Keystone delivers.
All the crap I said aside, yours is the best choice. Heck, you can't go to a swap meet, or walk around the back of an old hangar without stumbling over one of these gauges. Getting one that's throroughly and completely overhauled is the only way to go IMO.
