14-19-3 Gear door modification.

I maintain a Cruisemaster and it has the gear door modification installed on it. I need to find out if anyone out their has a copy of the STC for this mod? It also has the third flap hinge on it does anyone have any information on these modifications?

Mike, the original gear doors for the dash 3 were made by Houde Fiberglass. He made them for the factory. Later, the factory made their own. The factory probably knows about any mods to them. I cant say for sure, but I thought all -3s had the third flap hinge. Again, the factory will let you know. The factory owns the type certificate for the dash 3, which is very good for support. Us Cruisair owners have an orphan. Good Luck. _____Grant.
