Can someone tell me the trick for keeping the steps in place on the tapered landing gear legs on my Decathlon? I've tried a wrap of cloth tape and also tried rubber pipe tape. The cloth tape slides and the rubber deteriorates. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Rich
