2001 7GCBC, I have some significant pitting in my aluminum wheels...is there a specific tolerance or should I wire wheel it and repaint them aluminum color and call it good? Or just replace them? The plane spent its early years in southern Texas.

She runs beautifully with this one exception... When slowly advancing throttle, at 1200 rpm it drops back to 1100 and runs a bit rough...the slightest throttle nudge takes it right to 1400 rpm. When it's running rough at 1100, changing mixture does nothing which indicates it may be lean...

When I speak with the mic depressed other aircraft can hear me fine but I can't hear myself...drives me nuts. I can hear my passenger fine, they can hear me. Any suggestions?

When I tug on either strut pulling the plane out of the hangar I get a light "clunking" sound. My mechanic tightened them for me but I still notice it a bit. This doesn't seem normal. :?

Have checked fuel caps and swapped sides. Straight and level, fuel burn from right sometimes goes as low as 1/4 before borrowing from left. Thoughts?
